Happy New Year

It has been a good Holiday Season.  Our newly wed daughter and her husband have been visiting this season, for 3 weeks.  It's been nice to have her here.

Our youngest, Hunter, has had the flu and it has been miserable!  If your child gets it, call the Dr. immediately.  They have medications that can ease the symptoms and shorten the illness, but it has to be within 12-48 hours.

Well, hope your new year is great and that your health is even better.  

My goals for this next year are pretty shallow.  Travel, lose weight, spend more time with the family, and hopefully get some lipo done, we'll see.  

Next time I'll try to add pictures.   How did you do the video Michelle?  That was awesome!!!

Okay, so.  I got on the computer today, with my 13 year olds encouragement, to sign up on face book.  Then my brother tells me, blog.  Does he realize what this is going to do to some one with OCD and stacks of journals all ready full!  Not nice.  

Yes, I am a faithful journal writer.  So this will be interesting.  I'm not really sure what I'm suppose to write, so I'll tell a little about me.

I was raised in a family of 6.  I'm #5, with 5 brothers, 4 older and one younger.  What can I say, I'm blessed.  I grew up in SLC, lived in Denver, and now I'm back in UT.  We love it.  I guess you could say I married my high school sweetheart, Steve Orchard.  We'll celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary this December 19th.

We have 3 children.  Autumn 19, Ammon 18, and Hunter 13.  Autumn got married this last summer to Carmelo Diaz, a wonderful young man.  They are both attending BYU Idaho.  Our family likes to be active.  I'm not sure what more to write, so more later.   Kandi
